Cheltenham Ante Post & Roll Call
Think it is about that time seen as it is 8 weeks away today.

So far I have the following:-

Apples Shakira for the Triumph at 16s.
Road to Respect for the GC at 25s.
Min for the Champion Chase at 10s.
Terrefort (NRNB) for the JLT at 16s

I am also going to be backing Good Boy Bobby at 14s NRNB for the Bumper in the next few days.

Anyone else?

And who is going?

Re: Cheltenham Ante Post & Roll Call
Last ante post today Dortmund park , stables in good form obviously and it will probably go off half the price I backed it at so should be fun, I have a medium ew on Stormy ireland in the first also on Whiskey Sour and a good ew on Djakadam for no other reason but the hope that history can repeat itself a few of you may remember The Fellow a horse I followed for a few great years at Auteil and Cheltenham, its record in the G.C was 2nd 2nd 4th before he got up and BOOM, Djakadams is identical. And the trainer isnt too shabby either!!!

Had a specualtive ew on Shotavodka in the Foxhunters at 40s I think he may finish in front of a lot of those ahead of him in the betting, ideal for anyone looking for a Hail Mary in the naps comp!

Accas and superyankees for the day

1.30 Stormy Ireland
2.10 Whiskey Sour
2.40 Dortmund park
3.30 Djakadam
4.10 Shotavodka
4.50 Mr Big Shot
5.30 North Hill Harvey

And Good luck to everyone on the final day

In case Im not on Callthebarman is going again on Sunday at Carlisle, and granted its almost impossible to find a race as bad as that one on Huntingdon Wednesday for him he should go close, Gavin did the exact same thing in 2017 Cheltenham week with a horse whose name escapes me doubling up in two bad races.

Re: Cheltenham Ante Post & Roll Call
If Melon could have got his head in front would have been up on the day but two of my ante posts went down, Rathvinden almost got me back to level, two more run today and Max Dynamite is the one im most optimistic about but Josies Orders has drifted.

Biggest bet of the day so far is Callthebarman** 3.45 at Huntingdon,

Have done e.w accumulators and superyankees round the following Samcro Monalee Max Dynamite Douvan Josies orders Eragon de chenay and finally have had a good ew/ on relegate at 33s, not from a tip but just because I have a feeling the mare will have come on again from her last win and the price is way too big

Re: Cheltenham Ante Post & Roll Call
only saw the first race. Ruby didn't take long to destroy the Hot Pot Accas for his employer, Paddy Power.

Always think it's strange that it's not considered a conflict of interest, don't think any other sport would allow it.

Anyway, sense some good price winners tomorrow.

the Cheltenham racecourse page on fb has some great videos up of the best finishes from previous years, the best for me being Wichita Lineman

Ruby Walsh just said it was standard stuff. A farrier should be able to sort it out.

Expects it to run.

Anybody relying on Preview Nights has a problem.

The information is all out there.

This just results in PARSLYSIS BY ANAYSIS.

Oh agreed.... I'd rather go by what I have seen with my own eyes... been burnt far too many times with shitty tips... only person I can blame now if a bet goes tits up is myself.... oh and my spreadsheet

Re: Cheltenham Ante Post & Roll Call
Nice to see this back again. I usually have 4 or 5 done by now but to date have only backed one Jers Girl in the Mares Hurdle and have two nice e/w bets at 20/1 , Its on a recovery mission really , she was going as well as anything last year even the big guns when she fell 2 or 3 from home last year. She is entered in the stayers also but this has been the target since last March cheers Jon looking forward to your coverage of the Cheltenham nights.

She is going to love the ground*

AE,

Agree fully. Read none of these. Bookies and jockeys giving tips. Yeah, right.
